Paving Tips:
When selecting pavers for your driveway, it is worth considering the type of vehicles that will be driving up and down. For the small extra cost, 60mm pavers are a safer option for residential driveways, capable of handling heavier vehicles. Light commercial vehicles and even many 4WD vehicles approach 3 tonne these days.
If very heavy vehicles will be regularly up and down your drive, take a look at ‘Boral Interpave®’ pavers that are 80mm thick; designed specifically for commercial traffic situations.
It is also worth considering sealing your pavers as soon as they have been laid. Commercial grade sealers can help protect your pavers from staining and fading.
